Lucia Del Mastro

Lucia Del Mastro is a scientific manager of research projects and clinical studies into women with breast cancer, with a particular focus on the problem of protecting fertility in young women undergoing chemotherapy. Her ongoing research has led to the drafting of more than 130 papers published in JAMA and other prestigious international scientific journals. Lucia Del Mastro, a surgeon specialising in oncology, today is the director of the operational unit for Innovative Development Therapies at the IRCCS San Martino – IST of Genoa.
